Collaborative Design Services

It is important that our solution meets all your needs, so we will work with you to see that it does. Each of our data collection tools is designed to collect data specific to their application, but we understand they may not handle every data type required for your application. Engineering Drawing Services

Before the physical site survey can be conducted, a Pre-Survey Package (PSP) needs to be created. It consists of an AutoCAD® drawing of your venue that is then formatted to become the data collection environment. The drawing also serves as the graphical base in the final solution.

Our experienced staff of CAD designers can create the PSP drawing for your project using existing CAD drawings, blueprints, scanned drawings, satellite imagery or aerial photographs. If this information is unavailable, we can acquire the satellite imagery and aerial photos and/or visit your site and gather the geometry needed to create the PSP. Our Engineering Drawing Services can:

Physical Site Survey / Data Collection

All databases require a data collection effort to populate them. However, the data collection effort for a building, vessel, area or region can be overwhelming, especially without the proper collection tools and a methodology to organize the data during collection. Whether you lack the resources or just prefer to have an experienced collection team do the job, our physical data collection services can:

Video Production Services

Real Time Consulting understands the demand for instant video in crisis response situations. When seconds count, first responders can utilize our software to select video files pertinent to the situation at hand.

As a full service video production facility, Real Time Consulting provides on-site video production, post-production editing, DVD production and duplication and video encoding for Internet or CD-Rom projects.

Intranet Publishing

Real Time Consulting can work with your IT team and existing network infrastructure to incorporate the output from our products into an intranet website, complete with navigation. Real Time Consulting can assist in developing templates to suit your needs for the format and layout of the information that has been collected.

Once the templates are complete, production can be run at any time and the websites are automatically created from our software.

Data Updates

Basing decisions on old data is a very risky proposition, especially when the consequences for a bad decision can be severe. To keep your solution viable you need to update it to reflect changes in your venue.

We designed our software tools to make updating data as easy as possible; unfortunately, we could not make it automatic. A change in your venue creates new information that needs to be collected and incorporated into your software solution. We provide the support you need to quickly update your software to reflect your venue’s latest changes.

Technical Support

At Real Time Consulting, we realize that your planning and response software needs to work; our goal is to keep it that way. The software’s function is too important, and the consequences of failure too serious, to rely on anyone other than the software developer to provide reliable technical support. We designed our software to be solid and it has proven to be just that, but if you should happen to experience a problem, we will know how to fix it.

On-Site Training

Planning and Response Software Training

It is important that users of the Planning and Response Software familiarize themselves with the programs operation before a situation requires its use. The last thing you need in the midst of a crisis is to use a program you do not know, especially if it has an awkward and complex user interface.

We designed the user interface of our planning and response software to be intuitive, so first time users can find the data they need with little training or guidance. Even though our software is easy to use, it is still important for users to understand the extent of the database and be comfortable with the various methods of accessing data. We offer a one day, on-site training class to familiarize users with the software’s functionality and its uses.

Data Collection Training/Consulting

The data collection process is not only the single largest effort of the project; it is also a process that is unfamiliar to most people. Since our collection software is actually building the product as data is collected, it is important that survey team members understand the manner and methods used to collect and organize field data.

We offer a one day, on-site training class to familiarize users with the data collection interface and the criteria for collecting attributes, coordinates, photos, motion video and 360° IPIX imagery. This is classroom training that follows a curriculum.

We also offer “over-the-shoulder” consulting for data collection. Experienced Real Time Consulting personnel work with your team during collection to answer questions about the collection software and the mechanics of the collection process. Although this is not structured like our classroom training, it provides assistance as it is needed while contributing to the project’s completion.
